Healthy Menu Service

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Healthy Menu Service is an on-demand registered dietitian support service by ONcore. The flurry of federal regulation changes surrounding student nutrition means, sometimes, school food service operators aren’t sure how to best plan meals and menus. Rather than hire a dedicated registered dietitian – which can be a cumbersome and costly process – Healthy Menu Service allows customers to connect with RDs for as much time as they need at a totally affordable rate. As with ONcore’s other endeavors, we were at the fore, developing the brand’s identity and prepping it for launch.

THE CHALLENGE

Our primary objective was to present Healthy Menu Service as an affordable and viable alternative to hiring a full-time RD through print and digital marketing. We relied on ONcore’s preexisting reputation in the school food service space and language that reflected genuine expertise in the subject matter to communicate HMS’ usefulness.

BRANDING

For the Healthy Menu Service logo, we opted for gradations of blue to communicate intelligence and reliability. The importance of communication with HMS inspired the subtle notch in the crossbar of the icon, creating a chat bubble with negative space.

PRINT

We designed a full-page print piece for FoodService Director Magazine, the premier publication for school food service directors throughout the country.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

We created a single-page informational site meant to inform and convert viewers to buyers. As HMS was considered a companion brand to Complete Menu Service, we utilized a similar visual style for the graphics featured on the page.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Creating a strategy for social media is all about creating eye-catching content and placing it in front of the right audience.
Our strategy included several ads that ran on Facebook and Google.
