PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Coffee Roaster is one of Lincoln’s most popular coffee makers, and they’re the only shop in Nebraska that air roasts their beans—a process that prevents burning and maximizes flavor. Their interest in the greater Lincoln community doesn’t end with providing great-tasting coffee. They also run a fundraising program that allows organizations to sell The Coffee Roaster coffee and keep a percentage of the profits.
THE CHALLENGE
The Coffee Roaster relies on Agency 877 for a variety of creative projects year round, from special edition 25th anniversary branding, to social media, to package design, to print pieces and more. As the coffee shop’s marketing team, the only real challenge is making sure everything we do for them is cohesive across the board and that the store owners are thrilled with what we deliver every time.

These oversized pieces reference the design principles of art nouveau to evoke a classic, vintage vibe. Hand-drawn illustrative elements and hand lettering instill a homegrown feel, particularly appropriate for a community-outreach-oriented fundraiser like The Coffee Roaster’s Lift Off.
